My wife and I had a blast dog sledding as a bucket list item. It was a cold day but our clothes, the blankets provided in the sled and the activity were enough to keep us warm. It was a snowy, beautiful day near Canmore, Alberta. Snowy Owl Dog Sledding in Canmore ran the fun and educational dog sled outing ending with hot chocolate around a fire.
Some participants drive the sleds with minimal instruction and the support of staff on the run. The dogs are friendly and seem to enjoy everything about the outing.
I recommend this activity for couples of any age and for families with children older than 5.
